Terms of use
These terms are between you and Holly Allison ("we", "us"), who makes OnTrack in the United Kingdom. They apply alongside Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement. By using OnTrack you agree to them. Questions: hello@ontrackgoals.com.
Who can use OnTrack
You must be 16 or over to use OnTrack. By creating an account you confirm that you are. We'll delete accounts we learn belong to someone younger.
Your account
Keep your sign-in secure and don't share your account. You can delete your account at any time in Settings, then Your data.
Membership
- Membership is an annual auto-renewing subscription sold through Apple, at the price shown in the app before you buy.
- It renews automatically unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel it in your Apple account's Subscriptions settings.
- Deleting your OnTrack account doesn't cancel the subscription. Refunds are handled by Apple.
- Membership adds the AI coach and Community. If it ends, everything else keeps working and your data stays yours.
- The coach has a fair-use allowance of messages each month, shown in the app.
The coach
The coach is an AI, provided through Anthropic's Claude model. Its replies are general guidance, not medical, psychological, legal or financial advice, and it can be wrong. Nothing in your goals changes until you tap Accept on a suggestion. If you're in crisis, contact your local emergency services or a helpline such as Samaritans (116 123 in the UK).
Community: zero tolerance for abusive content
Community is for encouraging each other. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. You agree not to post anything that:
- harasses, bullies, threatens or intimidates anyone;
- is hateful or demeaning about anyone's race, ethnicity, religion, disability, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age or any other characteristic;
- is sexually explicit, violent or graphic;
- encourages or glorifies self-harm, suicide or eating disorders;
- shares someone else's private information or images without their permission;
- impersonates someone, is spam or advertising, or breaks the law.
How we enforce it:
- Every post and reply is screened automatically before it appears. Content that clearly breaks these rules is never shown.
- You can report any post or reply, and block anyone, from the "…" menu. Reported content is hidden for you straight away, and blocking hides that person's posts and replies from you.
- A person reviews every report within 24 hours.
- We remove content that breaks these rules, and we permanently remove people who post it from Community, without notice. Serious or repeated abuse may lead to the whole account being closed.
You keep ownership of what you post. You give us permission to store it and show it to the other members of the group you post in, for as long as you leave it there.
Your content
What you write in your journal is yours. We store and process it only to provide the service, as described in our privacy policy. You're responsible for what you add, and for having the right to share any photo you post.
Acceptable use
Don't misuse OnTrack: no attempts to access other people's data, overload or disrupt the service, get around the coach's allowance, or reverse-engineer the app except where the law allows it.
Our responsibility
We work to keep OnTrack available and your data safe, but we provide the app as it is and can't promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your rights as a consumer under UK law.
Changes and ending
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we'll tell you in the app before it takes effect. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. You can stop using OnTrack and delete your account at any time.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you may also bring a claim in the courts where you live.
